This 550 bedded multi-specialty tertiary level teaching hospital serves not only the population of the Pune urban agglomeration of approximately 82 lakh people, but also caters to patients from surrounding regions referred to us for our quality yet affordable healthcare services.

Registered under the Societies’ Registration Act 1860 and the Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950, this hospital run by the KEM hospital Society has to its credit many firsts in the city over its 102 years of existence! The secondary level Rural Hospital at Vadu run by the Hospital deserves a special mention here. The Vadu Hospital serves a rural population of about 1,00,000 persons in 28 villages through a network of primary healthcare centres.
