Home,asitwasknownin timespast served largeswathes ofthecommunityacross Chennai, andwas
respected for itsbirthingstandards andaffectiontowards customersandstaffmembers.

DrMehta’swasjoined byalargeteamofrespectedclinicians includingDr RShanmugasundaram,Dr Ahmed Ali,Dr A NParthasarthy,Dr Annamalai,Dr Nammalwarandher childrenDr UshaShuklaand Dilip Mehta,whohelped pavethewayforexpansionandgrowthof asecondunit–Dr.Mehta’s Children’s Hospitalsaswellasa significantincreaseinbeds andfacilities between 1994and 2006. Duringthis period,DrMehtaNursingHome,Proprietorshipwas convertedto DrMehta’s Hospitals PrivateLimited. Joined by senior healthcarepractitioners,theinstitutehas beenupgraded intoa recognizedteachinginstituteandaccreditedbytheNational Boardof Examination(NBE)and National AccreditationBoardfor Hospitals andHealthcareProviders(NABH).

TodayDrMehta’soperatesthreeunits–DrMehta’sMultispecialityHospital(Chetpet), DrMehta’s
Children’s Hospital(Chetpet)andDrMehta’s Advanced Surgical Center(TNagar)with over 300beds,
500clinicians andover40medicalandsurgical specialties.
